GCSE Results 2019

Yet another pleasing year in terms of GCSE results at BCA which indicate a sustained strong performance in many subject areas and significant improvement in some of our priority areas.

The Attainment 8 measure is up to 43.82 from 41.73 and the Progress 8 measure (which is a key measure of a school’s effectiveness) stands provisionally at +0.12 which is again an improvement from -0.01 in 2018. A score of 0 or higher is considered to be in line or above national expectations.

 

The table below shows the % of students securing a standard pass (Grade 4) or higher and a strong pass (grade 5) or higher in English and maths. Also, included is the % of students securing the highest grades (9-7).
