Prospective Parents

The transition to secondary school is a very important decision for parents and children.

In order to allow you as parents, to make an informed decision we feel that a visit to the school either during a working day or at an open event will help you to make the right decision for your child.

Open events will be advertised via the Academy Website and through Social Media.

The next Open Evening will take place in September when parents and children will have the opportunity to meet the teachers from a wide variety of subjects as well as getting involved with sample lessons.

However, it is never too late, or too early, to see what the Academy has to offer. If you would like to visit the Academy during a normal working day we are happy to organise tours for parents and children.

If you are interested in visiting the Academy please do not hesitate to call and make an appointment with Mrs Rixham, Assistant Principal or Mrs Ivins, Transition Coordinator, who will organise a separate visit for you.

Don’t forget to keep up to date with events at the Academy by visiting our website or following us on social media.
