The academy was inspected by Ofsted on 5 and 6 July 2022. The outcome was that “Beamont Collegiate Academy continues to be a Good School.”
“Since the previous inspection, leaders have continued to develop the curriculum. The curriculum identifies the knowledge that pupils will learn. This knowledge builds in a logical way that helps pupils gain the knowledge that they need to be successful. Leaders ensure that teachers deliver the curriculum well. As a result, pupils know more and remember more over time across a range of subjects. Leaders ensure that pupils with SEND are identified quickly. Teachers have useful information to meet the needs of these pupils effectively. Pupils with SEND have access to the whole curriculum.” OFSTED 2022

Understanding OFSTED inspections and reports
Ofsted have written a useful guide for parents and carers. You can find the latest version here ( https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/school-inspections-a-guide-for-parents)
Sharing Your Views with OFSTED
During an inspection, Ofsted will look at responses to their Parent View online survey (https://parentview.ofsted.gov.uk/)
You can complete this survey at any time during the school year, although during inspections there is an additional comments box you can complete.
