All students are rewarded for positive behaviours in and out of the classroom.
In the classroom, students are expected to follow the LEARN expectations. During every lesson, students are awarded for their work and effort.
Each half term, Progress leaders, conduct Rewards Assemblies with certificates and rewards. Students are also rewarded for excellent attendance and punctuality.
The students who gained the most Outstanding lessons each half term are also celebrated in assemblies and via displays around the school. Students can earn the opportunity to win prizes and be invited to special rewards events culminating in the main rewards event of the academic year, the BCA Annual Awards evening.
Every half term, two students from every year group are awarded the Principal award.
Progress Leaders and SLT are always looking for opportunities to hand out ‘on the spot’ rewards.
